Simple and Tasty Green Smoothie Recipe!

Ok, be honest…what do you think of when you hear (or see!) ‘green smoothie’?

‘must taste like grass’

‘won’t catch ME drinking that!!’

‘too complicated to make!’

‘too expensive’

Well, none of those have to be true! I love a good green smoothie, and when I say good I mean TASTY! “Earthy” isn’t quite the flavor profile I want for my breakfast or snack. If you’ve been too intimidated to try your hand at green smoothies in the past, or if you haven’t found a recipe you like, try out these recipes!

I’ve included two recipe options: one with protein powder and one without. I don’t always use protein powder, but if you have it on hand and you like it, it can be a great addition! The non protein powder options uses Greek yogurt so you still get a good dose of protein in the smoothie. Vegan? Try a vegan protein powder like the one I used!

The only other ingredients are frozen fruit, spinach, and milk of your choice! You don’t need any fancy or pricey additions, so this can be an everyday staple that won’t break your budget either.

If you make the recipe, leave a comment or tag me on instagram to let me know what you think!
